Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson is a generation ship story grounded in real science with problem solving that sometimes reminded me of the Martian. What a phenomenal book. It was fun, fascinating, and at times devastating, to ride with the colonists for this trip among the stars.

Easily the most photogenic hot chocolate I have ever had at home. Now if only it was the tastiest, too. 😂

(It's raspberry white chocolate flavored so, to be clear, it does live up to expectations.)

What have I done…

The last two weeks were exhausting and honestly, it was an absolute delight to play Lake where I could just, like, drive around a small town and deliver mail and make small talk and be in beautiful woods around a lovely lake.

Buying hardcover copies of books that I have read and loved but don't own yet always feels so good. And just look at those dyed edges on that Leviathan Wakes anniversary edition. So gorgeous!

I've had the Brave New Worlds dystopian short story collection sitting on my shelf for about a decade, and I guess when the world is actually falling apart is as good a time to read it as any. What a lineup!
