Great to be a part of #BMSS2022 and present some of my carbene footprinting work on EF-Tu. Royal Northern College of Music was a great venue with lots of brilliant science over the last three days!

Incredibly excited to finally share this.. We’ve charted the full life cycle of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus with Maastricht University. Follow us inside the cell and see exactly what happens during an infection youtu.be/k2GlafQ9YhY

Check out our newest publication in jacques s by James Lloyd in collaboration with OMass Therapeutics Mapping the Binding Interactions between Human Gasdermin D and Human Caspase-1 Using Carbene Footprinting | JACS Au pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Mapping protein binding sites provides critical structural information for your products. Our Protein Footprinting Service is a high-resolution and low-cost method of collecting this data. If you'd like to find out more please contact us at [email protected]

Organized by Professor Lesley Hoyles (NTU), Padraig Mulcahy (NTU), @kim_hardie (University of Nottingham) and Leah Cuthbertson 🏴🧬 (University of Leicester), with additional support from Medilink Midlands. Please RT. cc NTU Research

I am happy to say that this week I succesfully passed my viva! It feels very strange to bring the whole 4 years to an end, with just minor corrections to my thesis. Thank you Matthew Jenner and Nick Mitchell for an enjoyable viva (thankfully with no mention of Mathieu equations)

For any Mass Spec enthusiasts, I am excited to be presenting my work on nano-DESI imaging of ALS brain and spinal cord tissue at #ASMS2025. We have two other great presentations from CooperGroup UoB Biosciences covering ADC MS imaging and top-down protein ID using PTCR.

Great to see our latest article with Tim Overton's group is out in JACS! Congratulations Jas, Hannah and the team UoB Biosciences. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
