Milk processors are paying up to 10c a kilo milk solids for low (less than 150,000) bulk milk somatic cell count milk (BMSCC). It is a significant amount, but achieving it depends upon some good farm practices, ultimately taking a ‘cow-centric’ approach to good udder health.
