Sad thinking about how we’re going to have to go on an indefinite hiatus from dnd for awhile after February because two of our players/dm are having a kid in march and like obvs that’s very important and they need to take that time but also dnd is life what will i do with myself

/ i think it needs to be realised writers with autism here get attached . whether that be to a person , an idea etc etc and when that person cuts you off or switches up plans it hurts . it’s not a ‘ thinking about it too deep ‘ situation it’s the fact our brains are wired

different &. we’re genuinely trying to adjust to the switch up . if you’re going to change your mind , don’t give an autistic writer a fantasy which isn’t going to happen . we will dwell and we will get upset and yes , it can last for days . . months even .
