At this time, proof of vaccination is not a recognized exemption to the Hawaiʻi travel quarantine. The state continues to evaluate the latest science and will inform travelers of any new exemptions as those decisions are made. HawaiiCOVID19.com/travel #SafeTravelsHawaii

Risks of transmission are higher when two people are stationary and in close contact to each other for a while, like on a beach blanket, rather than people who are walking. We encourage you to get outdoors, keep your distance and a mask handy. How are you enjoying the outdoors?

Some recent variants of the virus that causes #COVID19 spread more easily, which may lead to more cases. More cases could put more strain on healthcare resources, lead to more hospitalizations, and potentially more deaths.
