Today, Amnesty International visited 2 mass graves on the outskirts of Damascus, where it seems the Assad government dumped the bodies of detainees from various detention facilities & prisons, incl Saydnaya. Those detainees had either been executed or died from torture/conditions of detention

Unfortunately, this video has been brought up to me by many Alawites in the coast who never believed the stories of Saydnaya’s atrocities, and are now citing this as proof of Western media’s “exaggeration”. The distrust is very real and we must be more aware of it as we report.
