An old barn was repurposed to house the small brewery & this is where our skillful brewmaster conjures up some of the best beers in Iceland!

Right from the start the aim was to produce beer of a quality that Iceland was not used to.

Popularity of the microbreweries makes sure that everyone at Ölvisholt keeps pushing to the highest standards of quality & entrepreneurship.

Last year Ölvisholt was awarded both Top Brewery of the Year & Beer of the Year for Iceland by Ratebeer.com for the year of 2014.
