Tom Henke was promoted to the majors (by the Jays) July 27, 1985. He wouldn't make his first appearance until July 29 at Baltimore. He was a big contributor to the Jays' success that season and the years that followed. Henke's career stats include 311 saves and an ERA of 2.67.
