What a great STEM we had at OES! We kicked off our morning w/ Freddy the Falcon! From hockey goals, basketball catapults, putt putt courses, balloon car races, & helmet designs that kept water balloons safe, Ss collaborated to design, build, test, tweak, & evaluate their work!

4th graders had an amazing experience Ola High with Agricultural Science teacher, Mr. Huff, and Ola High FFA learning about animals, planting, & ecology! They also learned about what it would be like to be a part of the Ag Science Pathway at OHS as a future Mustang!

5th grade has celebrated Women’s History month by researching and writing about many different influential women! Check out the beautiful wall capturing their hard work!

We had a great family STEM night this week at OES! Students and parents participated in family challenges and experienced together the problem solving and critical thinking involved in STEM.
