Special Envoy of the President of the #French Republic for the #UNOC, Mr. Olivier Poivre d'Arvor, met today with Hon. Lenora Qereqeretabua, Ass. Minister for Foreign Affairs, alongside Ambassador François-Xavier Léger. They discussed the upcoming UNOC, to be held in Nice in 2025.

Looking forward to discuss on ocean issues at the Pacific Islands Forum. Strengthening ocean governance is vital for the Pacific. These issues will be at the heart of the UN Ocean Conference in Nice. Let's work together for a sustainable ocean !

Meeting with my chinese counterpart in the #Pacific H.E. QIAN Bo on the sidelines of #PIFLM53 together with fellow members of the 🇨🇵 delegation, H.E. François-Xavier LÉGER France in Fiji & Olivier Poivre d'Arvor , to exchange views on our respective cooperations in the region.

🇫🇷 delegation headed by H.E Véronique Roger-Lacan Ambassador of France to the Pacific today on the sidelines of #PIFLM53 was delighted to meet representatives from the delegation of Kiribati🇰🇮. Discussions focused on #UNOC, French regional projects and New Caledonia.

After numerous meetings with the Pacific heads of state in Tonga, the French delegation will issue a press conference tomorrow at 8AM (Tonga time) ⤵️
