Attempted IVs 1st time on real patients. Missed the 1st patient’s vein by just a hair so the nurse was able to get it in the vein. Hit the 2nd patient’s vein dead on but the vein blew so had to be redone. Still neither said that it hurt so I’ll take that as a win. #FutureNurse

#nursingschool isn’t easy. Adding the fact that I also have to battle with my depression makes it even less so. However, in IV therapy I was reminded of something. My blood type is a message to me that I can do this! Time to B+ #FutureNurse #mentalillness
