You know... we all want #ClimateActionNow, but I actually no longer want all of civilization (including children and young adults) to literally worry constantly for decades as we solve and adapt to this crisis. It's not healthy or sustainable. And worry doesn't solve problems.

After two years, my shark embroidery is finally done! Fitting for it to be completed while studying UNC IMS

So proud of our fall 2022 MCFS students for their research presentations. I only got a few photos because the technology issues were fun, but you all knocked it out of the park!

It was such a great experience presenting about my crabs!

Sophia Palmieri and Noelle Keister presented their research at the UNC Dept of Earth, Marine & Environmental Sciences PerkinElmer Symposium. Very proud of what they’ve done and thankful for their help applying landscape ecology to intertidal sandflats and nurseries. One even took home top prize!
