Witt #2894 was Toronto's last Bay-Dupont streetcar when it retired from regular service on Feb 28th, 1963. It was used for "Tour Tram" service during the 1970s & was acquired by our museum in 1986. Photo by Bill Thompson on Bay St. at Union Station.

The five branch lines were integral to the Newfoundland railway. From 1915-30 five branches were in operation on the Avalon and Bonavista peninsulas, connecting cities and linking with the coastal boat service.
