Visited the incredible historic city Aurangabad, a 45 min flight from Mumbai. It is hard to find such layers of history at one place, from the ancient Hindu, Buddhist and Jain era to the medieval Islamic era.

My first foray into polygenic risk score w/ awesome statsgen colleagues Nilanjan Chatterjee & Jin Jin: arxiv.org/abs/2401.15014. Turns out the commonly-used approx likelihood can give rise to an improper posterior! (We present a fix.) It won Yuzheng Dun an ASA student paper award 🎉
