The president of the Heritage Foundation came to the city that launched Kamala Harris’s political career and announced plans for Project 2028 — the sequel to Project 2025 — if she wins. At a Peter Thiel/Garry Tan/Heritage tech conference in San Francisco. Get the picture?

How can the word "Cheney" not be on the home page of the #BrokenTimes now, hours after the news that Dick Cheney is voting for Kamala Harris? This is news judgment?

Hey! I got shouted out by @joyannreid on The ReidOut "This process of rehabilitation that journalist Aaron Rupar calls 'sanewashing' is happening nearly every time Trump opens his mouth ... "

Revisiting to show what utter chumps Mike Allen & Alex Thompson got shown to be. How'd "3rd press conference" turn out for you, gents? Both NYT & WaPo did posts on how Trump once again couldn't control himself & so went off attacking women RATHER than doing presser. Will Axios?

Hello sanewashing, goodbye journalism. It's the latest media frenzy: taking a Trump word salad & turning it into a sweeping policy vision. Aaron Rupar labeled this journalism fail 'sanewashing.' I talked to him about that in this new piece⤵️ tinyurl.com/4ryvy4dx

OMFG, the word Cheney doesn't appear on the home or front page of the Times today. A grand coalition in American democracy is forming. The #BrokenTimes is ignoring this momentous story--as well as good news for Harris. This is not news judgment. My view: buzzmachine.com/2024/09/06/the…

The Washington Post’s homepage headline says Trump is making “unusual promises.” The headline on the story itself says “outlandish promises.” Quite a difference. If WaPo’s headline writers weren’t anonymous and unaccountable to their customers, we could ask them to explain.

This is worth watching. If you've seen politicians or celebrities work "average people" crowds, you know that it's very hard to *keep up* a faked sense of comfort and connection. Anybody can smile for a photo; not everybody can seem natural for several minutes on end. Eg: GWB

CNN correspondent sanewashes Trump's diatribe in Wisconsin by pretending he rolled out a serious new policy proposal about changing the 25th amendment
