Over 1,100 trees felled in Delhi’s Ridge despite court orders, yet no jail to anyone, just fines. Worse, no mention of the woman citizen who fought to expose this. A blow to justice and the environment 😢 Saurav Das

Police complaints made about women harassed inside Sanjay van = no action taken. DDA doesn’t put cctv cams at SV gates. Illegal cafes and gyms inside SV. No vehicles allowed inside SV but guards allow them anyway. Now this > hindustantimes.com/cities/delhi-n… Warrior Moms Delhi Police

31 yrs since Section 4, Delhi’s Ridge still lacks final forest protection under Section 20 of the Indian Forest Act. Without demarcation, protection is toothless. Despite HC formulating a committee to demarcate #Ridge, progress crawls.

Today We took 5 kids to Delhi Zoo for a summer camp. I left heartbroken.💔💔💔 Animals were suffering in 45°C heat, many without shade. An elephant couple stood chained in the scorching sun — no shelter, no relief. This is inhumane. Why is no one watching? Who will speak for

Brazil's President Bolsonaro has signed a new law that increases penalties for those who mistreat pets. Direct witness of the ratification: his dog. Now those who harm cats and dogs face 24 months in prison, a hefty fine and the absolute ban on adopting other animals.🐾
