You can actually improve your ability to make decisions, it’s super weird. It’s not just that you can make better decisions at specific moments, you can actually improve your ability to quickly make decisions that are more likely to be good ones. Empowering!

In the (paraphrased) wise words of Kristian Hammond, “If you’re going through Hell: stop! Step back, and evaluate what you’re doing.”

Functional pressure is super valuable. Want to go to bed earlier? Get up earlier, so it’s painful to stay up late. Want to have fewer things? Move to a smaller place, so it’s painful to hold onto the things you have. (Is the hope.)
