Happy to share our manuscript published in Molecular Ecology! We explored the spread of the invasive red swamp crayfish and the evolutionary consequences of genetic drift along its invasion in patchy aquatic habitats. Crayfish even colonized the cover image! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.111…
This invasive pest is promiscuous at its core. Multiple paternity increases from edge to core of the spotted lanternfly invasive range. New surprising finding from an awesome former postdoc Nadège Belouard published by Entomological Society of America doi.org/10.1093/ee/nva… #ecology #entomology
📢 Exciting News!🔍 My latest research on multiple paternity in the invasive spotted lanternfly is now featured on #EntomologyToday, the blog of Entomological Society of America 🌿Read the full article here: 👉 entomologytoday.org/2023/09/13/mul… #Entomology #Research #InvasiveSpecies Matthew R. In time for Int'l Conf. AIS Im happy to share our fresh article in Global Change Biology showing that invasions are a population- & not a species-level phenomenon. Thanks to all authors and collaborators, but especially Ross Cuthbert Ismael Soto (I²) Danish Ali Ahmed & Ali Serhan Tarkan #icais2024
