What a wonderful celebration for the Queensland 2023 Young Tall Poppy Science winners! A special congratulations for A/Prof Carissa Klein who was named QLD #YTP of the Year. Also, a big thanks to our QLD selection committee and our valued QLD supporters!

QLD 2023 Young Tall Poppy, Dr Boase uses chemistry to create smart polymers that combine disease detection and treatment. He is looking at how these smart polymers can be controlled inside the body using light and radiation, allowing for remote control of these materials.
