Yesterday at #Gophercon, ianlancetaylor presented the motivation for generics in Go and a glimpse of the current design draft. There is a talk summary at about.sourcegraph.com/go/gophercon-2… (blog version next week) and now the design draft (not proposal!) golang.org/design/go2draf… is updated.
Finally got the chance to play a bit with GitHub Copilot and it is pretty amazing! 🙌 It is really interesting what Stack Overflow think about it and how they will be affected by that 🤔
