Fantastic to see thousands of Pink #Salmon running up streams in and around Ketchikan in #Alaska. Interesting to hear that fish farming has been banned in Alaska since 1990 to protect wild fish populations. Something we may need to get our heads around in due course in the UK.

This made me recall the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows' definition of "Sonder— noun. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own." Sometimes the lives others are living are far more complex than mine is, has been, or will ever be.
