I matched to UW’s cardiothoracic surgery residency program!!! Words cannot begin to explain how I feel right now. Just over a decade ago I was a homeless teenager and very soon I’ll be a heart surgeon in training. What a wild ride. #Match2023 UW CT Surgery Residency

Came home to find this incredibly thoughtful gift waiting for me. I am SO excited to call UW my new home 🥰🥰UW Department of Surgery UW CT Surgery Residency #Match2023
