In my experience working w/ many folks i've realized that every interaction isn't just about the task.. BUT about enabling a shift from non-engagement w/ a disabled NeuroQueer person TO effective collaboration, w/o expecting the latter to conform to neurotypical norms.

The struggle lies in others learning to embrace differences rather than penalizing you for not conforming to the norm. It's their adjustment that needs attention, not your identity. #Queering #Neurodivergent #QueerLeadership #disabilityawareness #Mbed #Equity #Leadership

The province is introducing legislation that requires analysis, consultations and public reporting for using P3s to build schools. This accountability is important. Considering how unsuccessful P3s have been, we hope they also cancel current plans. cbc.ca/news/canada/ma…

Hate has no place in our province. I condemn the Islamophobic attack captured on video in Winnipeg & offer my support to the family affected and community. It is important that we come together as Manitobans during these difficult times & stand united against all acts of hatred

Exploring the gap between policy goals and real-world impact sparks vital reflections on the fundamentals of our educational administration and leadership. It urges us to delve into how existing structures sustain systemic challenges, fortifying long-standing power imbalances.

In 🇨🇦 edu, barriers to decolonizing leadership lie in the systemic perpetuation of imperial hubris—privileged positions that overlook the rights of those w/ less power Existing colonial structures hinder decolonization efforts and foster cultural imperialism w/in edu institutions

I want to be very clear about this: 2SLGBTQI+ Canadians – in Alberta and across the country – deserve to be treated with respect, and they should be able to be who they are and love whom they love without fear.   To the members of Edmonton’s 2SLGBTQI+ community, who we heard from
