So, since I get a lot of angry, violent drivers in my mentions thought I’d try something.

Let’s say, for the sake of discussion, you drive everywhere you go, every day. One of the first things you notice is:

Just look at this beauty! Give me one of these please! I’ll take this over 4/5 floor skinny townhomes any day. Wouldn’t this be so much better than your living space divided into 4-5 floors and 1/4 of each floor taken up by stairs? Let’s go Seattle!

And to do it without relying on car & driving every where — it’s a privilege I don’t take it for granted & appreciate it every moment. It’s extra special because I’m also surrounded by so much beauty — nature is close by — parks, forests, gardens, and water.

what I wanted in a city living lifestyle — to work, live, and play in a vibrant & lively neighborhood in my 20’s remains the same as now, and will be the same as I get older — cafes, transit and music venues, festivals & events, arts & culture, hospitals, and restaurants.

Let’s make tree-lined bike infrastructure a priority! Imagine how many more people would be biking, rolling, and walking if we had more infrastructures like this. Fitting in a workout while commuting, connecting with nature, and decompress after a long day heading back home.
