Yesterday, MUNSU delivered a letter to Dr. Bose, @VPR_Memorial. In the event of strike, Memorial University is forcing their students, staff and faculty to cross the picket line. It is a gross misuse of power for the university to be forcing division within the community.

Absolutely! This is exactly why MUNFA is fighting for a definition of collegial governance — a proposal that would cost Memorial University no money, but would signify a commitment to working *with* MUNFA members to improve the university for everyone.

Compare the cost of the University hosting at the Fogo Island Inn to what Admin allows for per diem expenses for normal academic work-related travel = Not following your own policies. Improved collegial governance isn't just a MUNFA interest - its also a public interest.
