Did you know? The AfCFTA is being negotiated and implemented in 3 phases: Phase 1: Trading of goods,services and dispute settlement. This phase ended June 2022. Phase 2 addresses investment, competition policy and intellectual property rights. Expected to end this september. 1/2

Today I took part in a historic event, a momentous ceremony took place in Nairobi: the first shipment under the #AfCFTA Under the leadership of H.E. William Samoei Ruto, PhD the first consignment under the Agreement was shipped to Ghana. Kenya Tea Packers exported tea under the #AfCFTA preferences
