Introducing the D83 Shines PE and Health SAC! This outstanding group kicked off their work with the CLI Process by analyzing their current curriculum and aligning topics to start building a local, guaranteed and viable curriculum for the district.
The D83 Shines PE & Health team is building a curriculum with purpose! Today they developed a shared mission, established course purposes, and started designing a local curriculum that empowers students across the district.
The D83 Shines Social Studies Subject Area Committee met today to revise common assessments based on teacher feedback. They also practiced utilizing a data team protocol to help them make evidence-based decisions in PLCs.
The D83 Shines Life Skills & Well-Being Committee began their curriculum read-through. This is where alignment, clarity, rigor, and purpose all come together to ensure a strong, coherent K–8 journey.
The D83 Shines Math S.A.C reviewed feedback from classroom teachers to make revisions and strengthen clarity across the curriculum. When teachers have a voice in curriculum work, everyone wins.
The D83 Shines CCC brings together teachers, parents, and administrators to guide curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Diverse voices keep the work aligned, responsive, and rooted in the community.
