There ain’t no party like a Book Club Party! 📚🥳 CLK Learning Commons was buzzing with staff and students’ conversations over their Forest of Reading choices during lunch today! Good books, good food, and good people? Yes please! clarksonchargers

Yesterday, I witnessed history in the making. Seeing students fully invested in meaningful collaboration, amplifying their voices in co-constructing curriculum where they felt represented and seen was powerful. TY Phiona Lloyd - Henry & Donise Scheffler for the platform to do this work.

Over 2B people in the world don’t have access to safe drinking water, and over 80,000 of these people live in Canada. Visit the library displays to learn more about the current water crisis and how you can take action! #WorldWaterDay 💦 PDSB Library Learning Commons Peel District School Board

Another meeting of the minds, and a historical day of Black brilliance. Day 2 of Collaborative Curriculum Writing w/ Phiona Lloyd - Henry and Donise Scheffler. Students shared resources and ideas on what complete and authentic learning could look like. So excited for Day 3! 🙌🏽Peel District School Board

For clarksonchargers, it’s the best time of the year… and it’s coming soon! 🫢🖤💛 Stay tuned! #DoItForTheKids Campfire Circle CLK Learning Commons

Ended the week w/ the finale of our annual clarksonchargers Cancer Drive supporting Campfire Circle . A pretty productive week, I’d say! Huge thanks to all who donated and a special shout-out to 🇨🇦 Sembay 🇨🇦 and his Student Crew for an impactful week full of chaos for a cause!

Class of 2023: The one whose Gr. 9 year got lost in the pandemic … and whose Gr. 12 year was the first full school year without any interruption. If there’s anything you should be proud of, it’s your resilience. Congratulations, clarksonchargers Grads! You did it! 🙌🏽🎓

“We Are Still Here”: Blake Angeconeb’s Art Exhibit at Union Station is a brief but profound testament of the rich heritage, relevance, and resilience found in Indigenous storytelling. 🧡 Seeing his work up close, I’m in such awe.

Our Truth and Reconciliation Journey only begins with the learning and unlearning about Indigenous histories and voices… #EveryChildMatters #TruthAndReconciliation #OrangeShirtDay clarksonchargers
