The marshmallow challenge is in full effect. Mrs. Sims business manager class worked with their groups to build the highest standing tower using 20 spaghetti noodles, tape, rope, and a marshmallow. What a fun icebreaker for the start of the year! Klein Oak HS #kleinFirstWeek

I’ve been greeted with so many surprises as I am reconnected with many of my previous #KleinFamily students, staff, and families. This new journey is off to an amazing start. I am extremely grateful for my Klein Oak Family! 🐾

We had a blast for homecoming. Our football team came back for the win with only 42 seconds left on the clock. Our students showed up and showed out! Panther school spirit is unmatched! 🐾

No better feeling than to watch your children grow and become everything you’ve prayed and trained them to be! 💗🌸

Best part of my day was being back at the Bridge Center to enjoy a DELICIOUS coffee at our Bridge Center Bistro! ☕️ I loved spending time w/ our adult learners as they applied the skills they’ve learned through our Klein ISD 18+ program in real time as hosts, baristas & more! 👏

Our Klein Oak HS Band is 🎉STATE BOUND!🎉 Congrats to these fantastic students & their dedicated directors on this awesome achievement! I loved getting to watch them persevere through the rain on Saturday at Area competition to earn their place at STATE! Let’s gooooo! 💛🖤 #OakEm

This week’s IB tours were a success. A special thanks goes to our advanced academics department, our Ulrich Bulldogs, Hofius Hawks, Hildebrandt Mustangs, and Kleb Bearcubs for welcoming us and allowing us to speak with students about this amazing academic opportunity!

Our KO leadership team was well represented at our district’s CPR recertification training that was led by our very own nursing staff! 🐾

Our middle school IB tours have come to an end. We are grateful for the support of our #kleinfamily for accommodating and welcoming us. We can’t wait to begin the interview process to meet our incoming IB Panthers!

Super proud of our Klein ISD students volunteering & performing during the ABC13 Houston Share Your Holidays event benefitting the Houston Food Bank each year. Always amazed at how actively involved & service-oriented our amazing kids, alum & teachers are. ❤️

Mittelstadt Elementary is bridging language gaps and building stronger connections with the Let’s Communicate project! Thanks to this grant, students, parents, and teachers will have additional bilingual resources that foster understanding and engagement.

LOVED hearing about how Kleb Intermediate plans to expand their Music Mentoring program! With this grant, more students will have the chance to learn guitar and develop leadership skills. Special thanks to Casey Benoit for bringing music and mentorship to more kids. 🎸🎶💙
