Saw this during my classroom walkthroughs today. Would be so cool if students saw this before entering every classroom in every school. Now that is what I call a Culturized classroom. #Culturize Even better - every building should have it for very staff member as well.

The #FSDTrustees last stop was a visit to Joe Clark School where the Broncos were working hard: cerebrating kindness, pushing the boundaries of their imagination & shaking the walls of their classroom as they excitedly recited the alphabet in French as many times as they could in 1min!

Narcissistic leaders are threatened by talent. They want to be the smartest person in the room. Humble leaders are drawn to talent. They surround themselves with people who make them smarter. Great leaders grow talent. They strive to make everyone in the room smarter.

I often talk about all @fsd38 is doing in support of “flourishing”. This is ‘heart work’ - work that takes courage and can’t be done alone. Grateful for the exceptional people across FSD who are stepping up & into moving FSD’s purpose forward; people like Karla, Scott & Debbie!🎉

On this last day of #TeacherAppreciateWeek, maybe one last little reminder: You don’t need a special week or special day to celebrate & show appreciation for someone who adds value to your life. If they matter, tell them…because kindness is contagious & gratitude fills the soul!
