Don't mind us, it's just the Head of English and Head of Drama hanging out with their new mate Jack; he's had a rough day, but we've got him through it. It is wonderful to be back at The Elms School with lots of excitement for the new school year - it's gonna be a good'un!

Year 6 began their Vocal Skills unit in Drama today with some fabulously flamboyant performances of the opening speech from a melodrama. They were suitably expressive, creative and utterly joyful!

Huge hearty thanks to The RSC RSC Education for an exhilarating and inspiring two-day Teaching Shakespeare course. Can't wait to put what I've learnt into practice The Elms School! An absolute treat to squeeze in seeing a new play, too.🎭🌟

We loved Sam Wilde's online work over lockdown, making an aardvark or two, so it was wonderful to see his beautiful creations live Shakespeare’s Globe yesterday in The Fir Tree.Absolute bonus to meet actor @tonyjay78 afterwards;he was so lovely with Noah&Hazel,they were thrilled!

A lovely Y7 girl is so giddy-happy at having been given the whole set of Murder Most Unladylike books for Christmas; she glowed as she told me today how excited she was to get stuck in to the second instalment. Robin Stevens Updates I wish you could have eavesdropped on the joy! 🌟
