Now it’s the Red Raiders turn to be irate. Pass interference called on fourth and six at the 28 keeps the drive going for Westford

After knocking on the door twice, Westford finally has the games first touchdown. Wilson with a bullet to Quinn Reynolds down the right hash for a 16 yard touchdown with :38 left in half. Extra point is good. 7-0 Grey Ghosts.

Halftime here at Cawley Stadium. Westford leads 7-0. Grey Ghosts got 48 yards rushing and 73 passing and a TD from quarterback Alex Wilson. Ben Chan added 9 carries for 48 yards.

Lowell gets the ball to begin the third quarter.

Third turnover of the night for Westford comes on a second pick of Wilson. Lowell’s defense holding them in.

Lowell can’t convert again off a turnover. Three and out aided by a personal foul penalty. Red Raiders being outgained 254-93 but it’s still only 7-0.

Westford burns a timeout with 1:14 left in the third and having to punt. Interesting.

Wilson scores on a five yard keeper with 6:24 left. That’s huge drive from Westford. Kyle’s kick is good. 14-0

Lowell down to one timeout now. They are at the 50 with 4:48 left needing two touchdowns to tie. Total yardage is 331-146. Three Westford turnovers plus a turnover on downs have kept the Red Raiders in the game.
