For the past four months, over 250 4th and 5th graders on more than 50 teams participated in the first annual Nutmeg Book Bowl at Johnson. They read, they studied, they were all amazing! This morning, we crowned our champion - The Fearless Four! Congrats to all the participants!

Today, Senator Tony Hwang visited Johnson 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. He shared an important lesson about civics and the branches of government. The students were even able to engage in a debate about seatbelts on school buses. Shockingly, they were in favor.
