I am very excited to be a co-chair of the "Playing Nice: Scientific Computing Across Programming Languages" track at SciPyConf this year! The Julia Language Fortran Conda Forge please don't forget to submit your talks. Would love to see you all in Tacoma! CfP closes soon.

We’re excited to see The Open Source Science Initiative support the launch of “Another Open Source Podcast”! Join your hosts with this episode’s guests Madicken Munk and Paul Ivanov to talk all things SciPy: Live May 10 at 2pm ET/11am PST on the Scientific Python Discord server. hubs.la/Q02wDsHt0

This concerns _only_ the defaults channel and not Conda Forge! For conda-forge, we are working hard to remove any vendor lock-in: we have a mirror of all packages prefix.dev and on GitHub GHCR (where Homebrew is hosted as well).

This really needs to be amplified, conda (the package management software) is different from the distribution it uses to pull the packages. The license is for the "defaults" channel maintained by Anaconda (the company), and not Conda Forge (maintained by the wider community)!

Tansu, my project Build on Stellar is out in v1 🥳 head over to tansu.dev and the dApp itself is at testnet.tansu.dev any feedback helps 😃I have a lot of plans for the next steps, this is only the beginning 🚀
