Some parents judge schools by the test scores. But there are a lot of parents who judge schools by the attitude of their child when they get home in the afternoon. We need to be working to raise student achievement… but we also need to be creating good experiences for kids.

We all know that kids in the school have “reputations.” Well... the adults have reputations too. I hope to be known for my positive energy, my support of staff, and my love for students. How are you known in the halls of your school?

Not all your kids have hope… and when that fact hits you, you realize your job is bigger than any lesson plan or standardized test.
