Wallington South carried out a joint operation with Trading Standards on 25th January. They visited 11 shops where 72 toys, 175 counterfeit property, 60 packs of shisha, 22 vapes, 7 nicotine pouches and 20 safety related items.

CHARGED A combined effort from officers from all three wards has seen a prolific shoplifter arrested, charged and remanded for x 17 shoplifting offences on Friday. He was arrested on Wallington High Street. He is due to appear in court next week.

Today, PC Salvage and PC Carter helped a local resident who's mobility scooter developed a fault and stopped under the Wallington railway bridge. Needless to say it was incredibly heavy!

Yesterday officers recovered this moped which had been stolen from Norbury over 2 months ago.

At the weekend the team were invited by LFB Sutton to take part in the station open day. Lots of smiling faces enjoyed trying the uniform and playing with the buttons in the car. We'd say it was the most popular part of the day but we'd be biased! Luke Taylor MP
