There has been a rise in theft from motor vehicles recently on the Laycock Ward. This is always an opportunistic crime. Please don't leave valuable items, like this Nintendo Switch, on display for any would be thieves.

Your Laycock Safer Neighbourhood team executed a drugs warrant in the early hours this morning. Large quantity of Class A drugs and cash seized. Another example of the police and the community working together.

Laycock PCSO's have been conducting weapons sweeps across your ward, paying specific attention to parks and public garden areas. Two knives were found, seized and destroyed. Please call 101 if you find any such items when you're out and about.

You said: Drug dealing in Myddelton Passage. We did: On 29th July we conducted a proactive operation to target moped/e-bike enabled drug dealing. A male on a moped was pursued by officers and found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin. #opbandera
