Minneapolis City Council Joint Statement on Annunciation Catholic School Shooting

Neighborhoods are coming together to create an Avenue of Angels with blue and green ribbons leading up to Annunciation along W 54th Street from Xerxes to W Diamond Lake Road up to 35W and throughout our communities as a visible sign of love, solidarity, and support.

Join in making cards and peace doves for the children and faculty of Annunciation Catholic School.

There will be another opportunity to cut ribbons and make cards tomorrow, August 30, at the Washburn Library from 3:15-4:15 PM.

The City of Minneapolis has partnered with neighborhood organizations to provide a safe, supportive space at Lynnhurst Park for those who have been impacted.
