Dept of Environment in collaboration with WWF-Kenya and other departments across the county have shown their engagement in Climate change actions.It is a great opportunity to enhance and understand sustainable Climate change adaption and mitigation in the county.

In effort of understanding participatory climate scenario planning (PSP),today we hosted The Kenya Climate Change Working Group and christianaid together with the local communities, county governments and meteorologists from Kajiado County. Indigenous and scientific knowledge are important in climate change.

Following the training needs assessment and project prioritization under the FLLoCA program, the department in partnership with The Kenya Climate Change Working Group & ALIN had a training workshop for Kajiado East and Central ward climate change councils on proposal writing ,among many others.
