303v/150m3 = 2v/m3 dose = conc in air x breath rate x respiratory tract deposition x exposure dose = 2 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 7 = 3.5 but can these numbers tell us anything? Here I explore this question further x.com/moog77/status/…

Good thread explaining why improving indoor air quality, although potentially beneficial in numerous ways, is unlikely to be a panacea for respiratory disease transmission

Fascinating explanation of why air filtration may sound good, but likely won't have a huge impact on transmission rates of viruses.

I just found out about this interesting longitudinal cohort study WellKiwis (h/t David Hood). This gives some insight into how often people have covid vs. other respiratory illnesses. 1/ wellkiwis.co.nz

A very interesting meta-analysis of covid superspreading demonstrate the relative rarity of superspreaders. Although the researchers highlight that good quality data was sparse and in future better reporting system should be a priority ht Andre Henriques🧵 cambridge.org/core/journals/…

Used to work with Claire E Allen , and great to see that she's captured her expertise in zebrafish husbandry and research in, what I am sure, will be a must read for researchers using zebrafish models.
