Our fundamental rights are stripped off everyday...we the "Military Court prisoners" have been othered at Kot Lakhpat Jail. The blatant disregard for human dignity & basic rights continues unabated. We have been isolated in high security zone

A discriminatory and insulting Jail inspection of our cells compelled us to announce a protest strike last week, our personal belongings were thrown around & guards walked on our beds with their shoes on

We gave our demands to the jail authorities: we don't need any favours, we just seek to be treated with dignity and respect in accordance with law.

Military court prisoners at Kot Lakhpat face over 8hr daily power cuts. We are arrogantly taunted that these power outages are "only for us"

I remember that Maryam Nawaz and her family were kept with respect in Jail during PTIs government. Her family members even had access to AC where they were confined
