Moldova makes another leap in World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Report 2024, ranking 13th out of 146 counties. This is a testament to our commitment to gender equality, women empowerment and combatting domestic violence.

Today 🇲🇩marks the Sovereignty Day. 34 years ago, the Declaration of Sovereignty was adopted, which laid the foundation of our state. In this historical document it was declared that the only bearer of Sovereignty and the source of power in the state is the People.

International Day of #WomeninDiplomacy celebrates the contributions of women to peace & cooperation. #Moldova is committed to equality & inclusivity in its diplomatic corps. We are proud of our women ambassadors & will continue to increase their proportion!

Today, Moldova and Ukraine officially start EU accession negotiations. Our future is within the European family. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from Ursula von der Leyen, Charles Michel, Roberta Metsola Metsola, and the @EU2024BE. We are stronger together.
