#CallOut 39/23 At 14:43 this afternoon, Lomond MRT were called to support colleagues from Killin Mountain Rescue Team SC044098 in a search for a group who had become disoriented on Ben More. Thankfully, the group were located and able to be walked back off the hill with MRT guidance.

The team were called out on Sunday to help two walkers who were lost on steep ground on Ben More. With some of the team away training, we requested support from Lomond MRT. Using local knowledge, we successfully located the missing persons not long after sunset.

Two call outs last weekend for the team. #callout 1 #mealgarbh Sat. A winter walker was on the lower slopes of Meall Garbh in the Tarmachan group of hills near Killin when they suffered a lower leg injury. Their companions did the best thing 📱999 & asked 4 🚔 #MountainRescue.

The team was called out to an injured cyclist on Saturday in the Glengyle area of Loch Katrine. We worked alongside Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue199 crew and Scottish Ambulance and Police Scotland Forth Valley to extract the casualty from a difficult position. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
