Wild honeysuckle is a native species, Lonicera sempervirens. Unlike the invasive Japaneses species, it is not aggressive & is a nice blooming vine that hummingbirds love. If not sold out at online sales, ⁦Mobile Gardens⁩ has red & yellow cultivars at the Spring Plant Sale.

Butterfly pea blooming Mobile Gardens . Described as uncommon in the SE, there seems to be a good population in the Longleaf Forest. This is one of two native genera with the common name butterfly pea or butterfly pea vine.

I can’t tweet fragrance but as the young people say, IYKYK. It’s worth a visit to MBG just to get a whiff of the Tea Olive by the gate.
