That's because colleges divested from Russia because, you know, the reasonable and obvious moral postulate that colleges shouldn't invest in countries carrying out ongoing war crimes. That demand that suddenly and inexplicably got turned into a form of racism last fall.

We started the conference with a practical look at how #MMT can inform public discourse on migration. Prof. Peo Hansen analysed the debate in Sweden in which migrants were classified as fiscal assets and liabilities. x.com/DEhnts/status/…

Prof. Martina Metzger and Dorothea Schäfer joined us for a panel on Eurozone Economic Policy-Making. We discussed the effectiveness of interest rate policy, the purpose of government bond issuance and the possibility of implementing resource-based fiscal rules.

After the lunch break Dr. Steve Keen joined use to present his software package Ravel and how he and Stephanie Kelton were able to prove many of the fundamental tenets of #MMT using it.

Prof. Doris Neuberger showed us how banks reacted to the recent rate hikes and how policy in Germany failed to protect the interests of customers. She also discussed several alternatives for policy-making, such as regulation, taxing windfall profits and offering public options.

Jan Prokott held broad presentation on the connection between Money and Power throughout the Ages. He showed how Money has been employed as a tool of administration for the last 6000 years.
