MMS in Uganda’s Tororo community provide education about sustainable farming, helping community members to support their families without depleting resources. The sisters care for livestock, have planted 500 new trees and are providing vital training to women and local youth.

During Lent 2020, MMS are collecting signatures to fight trafficking and exploitation in the South Asian seafood industry, which produces many goods sold in the U.S. We hope to do our small part in empowering people with information to make ethical purchasing decisions!

“It is the first time we are experiencing warmth and respect,” said the scavengers and transgender community who asked for help from our Sisters in Bihar, India. Following Jesus’ commandment, MMS provided food and washed their visitors’ feet on Holy Thursday several weeks ago.
