Students, staff and parents KanataHighlands enjoyed the Terry Fox Run today! Terry Fox Foundation
My student-teacher taught an engaging lesson on dental hygiene. We guessed some famous Disney teeth, talked about plaque and bacteria, and gave our “teeth” a good brush. She consolidated their learning with a class discussion afterwards. KanataHighlands

Reunited with my Grade 1 students from my practicum this year at KanataHighlands! I joined them as a volunteer on their field trip to the Canadian Museum of Nature. We attended a workshop all about beavers and dams, and got to explore the various exhibits! 🦖🦫🦅🐜

I am now about halfway through my M.Ed degree with a concentration in Societies, Cultures, and Languages at uOttawa Education. I have been learning a lot about educational policy, anti-racism, comparative education, and L2 teaching. 📚 Super excited to continue my learning!
