ED Audrin Mathe met with the International Labour Organization team this morning for a debriefing session ahead of tomorrow’s High-Level Awareness-Raising Event on Employment Impact Assessment. The meeting focused on final preparations and key objectives for the event.
The Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations, in partnership with the International Labour Organization, today held an Awareness Event on Employment Impact Assessment to explore how employment outcomes can be integrated into national policies for inclusive and sustainable job creation.
ED Audrin Mathe met with Ms Milka Mungunda of the Social Security Commission to discuss service delivery and the shift toward digital services. The SSC reported strong progress in moving services online and shared updates on projects that strengthen social protection.
The Namibia Agricultural Labour Forum met with ED Audrin Mathe to discuss the rollout of the National Minimum Wage for the Agriculture Sector. The wage is set at N$10 per hour, rising to N$14 in 2026 and N$18 in 2027 to support better livelihoods.
