Today is Patriot Day. A day we must never forget. Take a moment and remember those 2997 lives that were lost on this day in 2001. Among those were 343 Firefighters, 71 Law Enforcement Officers and 8 EMT/Paramedics. #UNITEDwestand

34 years ago today we said “I do”. Since High School you have always been my biggest cheerleader. We were so young! Thank you for always being there for me and our family. We have had fun and it’s been a constant adventure going through life with you.

Make sure you go out and vote, if you haven’t already, and let your voice be heard! Even in the rain it was worth the wait.

Today, remember to honor and thank all who have served and continue to serve our great nation!! We deeply appreciate the sacrifices you have given for our freedoms.

Yesterday evening we welcomed Oakley Reese-Sandra Fisher into this world on what would have been my mother’s 80th birthday. Her new great grand daughter named in her honor. We love you mom. Miss you so much mom. I can’t wait to hold you Oakley!!

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (April 11th to 17th). When you call 911 these are the folks that are there for you day in and day out. If you know a Dispatcher make sure to thank them, not only this week, but every day of the week all year long.
