A key question is what might bring Putin/Russia and Ukraine to agree a compromise settlement - perhaps where there are common interests, sharing and collaboration & positive growth by both sides in the disputed regions of eastern Ukraine. NATO has a conciliatory role too.

Life for Ukrainian adults & children underground at the Azoz steel site is unacceptable. Also for 100,000 residents of that city living desperately. Ukraine & NATO should call on all of them to come to the surface & go into the street & force Russia to enable evacuation
